    Greenscreen Input Requested

I will be making a Cow Elk Next Saturday. My plan is to harvest the cow elk with my bow, but to be on the safe side, I will carry a rifle "Just in Case".
Here is where I need some input..
This is a High Fenced Ranch and I am torn between taking my 30-06 or my 6.5 Creedmore. I know the 06 will take it down, but I am really wanting to use the 6.5.
Given the opportunity which would you choose??
    And GO..

    6.5 no problems

The elk I've seen inside of a high fence are pretty tame, the CM should work fine

Im an 06 fan but if youve uber confidence in the 6.5...use it. Its high fence so you shouldnt be making any difficult shots.

        Good luck on the hunt.

Go for it they take bulls with the 6.5 all the time, its shot placement.

Looks like it will be the 6.5 as my Back Up.. Gonna give 100% effort to harvest with my Bow...

Agree, you won’t have any 400-500 yard shots across a big valley. Creed is fine, good luck.

The 6.5 will get it done. Use a well constructed bullet.

I am hopeful the Shot will be with a Well Constructed Easton Axis 350 with a 100 grain Hypodermic

Will you have a guide backing you up? A guide with a .338 or .375 can remedy a lot of problems.
