Looking for 308 load data

Ever get on to Hogdon website?

It offers loadings for many different calibers using different powders and bullets.
It’d be a good starting point if nothing else is available.

Another for the Hodgen sight. They have pistol loads for 15" barrels. I'd think the slower burning powders listed in that section would work well.

In a bolt gun I’m running 178s@ 2700-2730. 16” barrel suppressed

I’m using imr 4064
Starline match srp brass
CCI br4 primer
178 Hornady BTHP

I won’t give the amount of powder I use because it’s over max a good bit. It’s a start for you.

I just bought a 20" .308-- had no idea Remington made their police LTR in left hand so I snagged it. Great gun for truck/blind-- running Hornady Black 168 Amax suppressed right now.

Any reason on the SST in particular? I'm a fan of the Amax/ELDM line and I'm curious at the lower velocity how the SST will fair compared to a thinner jacketed bullet.

You're unlikely to get there in a 16"barrel.

It’s possible trust me, but you will have to seat them long and work up to a heavy charge.

I’m running the 150gr SST pill over Varget at 2620fps out of my 20” Remmy LTR. Way under MOA load. Hopefully it’ll be just as good once I put my F1 can on it.
