I snagged a Ruger Predator in 22-250 yesterday for a really good price. I wanted to buy something for the kids to use, the wife to feel comfortable with and to drill some hogs. The dealer is going to mount the rings and a scope (no details yet, I just told him around $200). And got 100 rounds for it. Ill pick it up Friday and put a few rounds through it this weekend. I killed many a deer with an old Remmy 22-250 as a kid and figured it was a good choice that didn't break the bank.

Anything with Ruger printed on it is a good buy in my opinion. I think it'll do just fine.
