New Gun: What Base and Rings?

I've purchased a Savage 110 Storm .243 and need to know what scope base mount and rings yall suggest to mount a Vortex Diamondback 3.5-10 X 50.

And what's the Pro/Con to a 1 piece Picatinny vs. 2 piece base system?

    Thanks for the input.

1 piece Pro: rings are square. easy to move scope between other rifles Con: usually heavier.
2 piece Pro: usually lighter. generally more available heights to get scope at the level you want Cons: must square the rings. can be more difficult to swap onto another rifle.

that's about it. for me, my flatop AR type rifles wear 1 piece and my more normal hunting rifles wear 2 piece.

Talley lightweights. They are a ring and base in 1 piece. It’s all I use.

Warne rings and bases. They do make 1pc rings to compete with other makers.
As far as one piece vs two.. I think it is preference. The one pc gives the appearance of it being MORE solid as a monolith. But how many rifles do you know of that have 2pc mounts and are very accurate? Many I am sure. One thing that the one pc brings to the table is there is no ring alignment necessary and I have not ever lapped one pc mounts. I have them on my 450Bushmaster AR and on my TC encore bbls and they hold quite well.
