I’d imagine the $300 leupold is a freedom. They are good scopes for the money. Up the budget a little more and you can get a Vx3i in 4.5x14, which is a phenomenal scope..,... depending on budget it’d be hard to beat Swarovski like others mentioned

Personally I buy all of my scopes used off of accurate shooter . Most of the time I can save at least 500$. If its broke I just turn into warranty and get fixed or new

do you want the best 300 dollar 1 inch scope? Or do you want the best 1 inch scope? because the best 1 inch scope will be much more than 300. but, at 300, you can get a good scope especially if you limit the features you want and concentrate on glass and build quality.
