Anyone rebarrel a ruger American

Considering screwing in a 260ai barrel on my ruger predator just curious if anyone else has done this. Rifle shoots good as a 260 now but I don’t care for the profile it has.

I understand it’s basically the same process as a savage which I’ve done.

Yeah, I have replaced two of them. The process is the same, although the wrnech isn't. This is the one I bought:

What barrel maker did you go with?

I don't think they have a chamber for 260 AI though. Might give them a call and see, if they do get one, I might have to change another one of mine! lol They do make a good barrel though, I have two AR's I am using their barrels on as well, one is 450 Bushmaster, the other is 338 Federal. The American's I did were 308 and 6.5 Manbun.

Yeah I want to use X-Caliber are you having good accuracy? I’m thinking of using there carbon barrel for a 280ai also. They don’t have a 260ai listed but maybe they can get a reamer.
