Just echoing what others have already said. They are wonderful rifles. I am very fortunate to have 2 of them and they both shoot one ragged hole at 100 yards and about 1/2” - 5/8” at 200. This is with reloads. Other than maybe a beat around truck/ Utv rifle I will never buy another production rifle again. In fact I sold a few to help pay for my custom rifles. You will not be disappointed. My next one will be a heavy bench / blind rifle in 280ai.

With a custom rifle from APR it’s not all about the groups. The guys are great to work with and you get exactly what you want. Even on bad days at the range my hand loads didn’t get anywhere near 1 MOA

My apr 7mm08 is awesome. The guy who did the load development shot a .096 three round group.

Honestly I had no intention on criticizing a person for their choices. I would like to have a custom rifle. I said in jetting way that I would like one but that its not in my budget. To the OP if I came across as critical than I apologize. Seriously not my intention.

You didn’t say anything wrong. I starved my family for a month 3 separate times to buy my three.

I love my APR. It shoots 1/2 inch groups with cheap ole’ Hornady American Whitetail 6.5CM

If you decide to buy one you better be prepared to buy more! They are a great company that produce outstanding custom rifles at a very competitive price point. Between my friends and family I can confidently say all 6 or 7 rifles of different calibers/configurations shoot very well and everyone is pleased with the service from Alamo. If your thinking about it it now and you don’t do it you will always wonder... my vote is go for it! Get exactly what you want as you will have it forever
