Reusing primers?

Long story short, found cases that i made from 223 to 300. I can pop the primers to reuse, maybe?

You’ll likely ruin them when trying to pop them out.

I have decapped live primers but it made me very nervous. Nothing happened but I made sure to wear eye pro. I threw them away and didn’t try to re-use.

Guess I'm the rebel here. I have de-capped many live primers over the last 10 years and have re-used them without issue. I haven't had a detonation either (knock on wood). I do wear eye protection at all times when I'm performing reloading tasks.

In my experience unless the primer pockets are really loose, the pin always makes a raised area in the cup and it’s usually significant enough that the bolt won’t close on the round.
