I would stick with the 7 mag if both pigs are large. I did it on a large sow and a medium sized boar at about 250 yards with a 150 gr. core lokt. The lead core of the bullet was stuck under the skin on the backside of the 2nd pig. Both were shot through the ribs.

        Bird in the hand.....

I would get them one at a time.

Only done it once. Year before last. Barnes TSX 185gr .338WSM at 175 yds.
One hog was about 200 lb and the other about 140 lb both sows.

Any of your calibers will do with a Barnes TSX or TTSX

            I love getting a two-fer

            Done it several times.

Have not yet pulled off a 3-fer. Gonna have to be low to get that one.

I’d use whichever rifle you like best. No wrong answers on this one. Just bring enough that it can carry energy through more than one carcass.

Done it several times with 270. Wait till they line up and shoot front one just behind the ear. Once I showed my wife how to do it, she trumped me and took down 3 100lb in one shot with 25-06. 3rd one ran maybe 20 yards, other 2 dropped where they stood. In 270 i shoot 130 grain rem core-lokts. And 25-06 117 grain sierra game kings.
