Got a call about some bad hogs. Grabbed the 458 Socom and headed out. Thank God I had mosquito spray in the truck, it is a creek bottom, thick, humid and hot and I decided to wear shorts and cut off shirt sleeves. Covering from head to toe with skeeter spray isn't exactly the cover scent I was looking for but made the most of it. Managed a 3 legged sow and 2 boars, one small and one pretty good size, all took just one shot with a 300 gr. Steinel ammo 458.
