    AR Pistols

Anybody have one that they actually use for hunting purposes? I’ve been eyeing one lately and just curious.

Have several, use the 6.8, and the 300 bo a lot, suppressed with thermal, great for hog hunting.

What kind of accuracy do you get out to 200 with the 300?

I have a 7 1/2" .223 that's ran suppressed (far to loud to not). I never leave home without it during deer season. As of now its just been a pig gun and done well. Its sub minute of swine out to 100

My only complaint is how dirty it shoots. I don't know if its the length barrel, the can or the length of the gas tube but after shooting it the remaining bullets are coated in burnt powder

I have one that rides under the back seat of my truck, but I’ve killed several pigs with it in the last two or three years. Even suppressed, it’s short length is just right for riding in the sxs or cart.

I have a 300BO with an 8 1/2 barrel thats only been shot suppressed. Running subs its good for about 2" at 50 yds. Never tried much further than that.

I have a 12.5" Grendel that I use with my thermal for hunting pigs at night.

No complaints. Easy to pack around and have killed pigs out to 100 yards so far. No issues at that distance. The biggest issue is that I have gotten used to the small frame of the SBR. My "normal" sized rifles now feel big and clunky.

I had one non suppressed. Stalked into some hogs in the thick brush and trees, got off 2 shots then fell to my knees holding my poor ears....horribly loud. Sold it shortly afterwards.

                    Been there...

Definitely will not shoot mine without a suppressor.

I just finished building 12.5" grendal right before the covid shut every thing down. Plan on using for my new hunting rifle i was tired of carrying
my 30-06 and my bow so this will be little lighter

I've got a 7.5" .300BO for pigs at my bosses place. It's pretty dense so there isn't a shot more than 125 yards or so.

Do you run it suppressed or with a normal break?

I do have a CAN coming one day, depending on how fast the Govt can get it done
