    New MOS Glocks (43x / 48)

Glock 43x and Glock 48 MOS are now officially released for sale-- PICKED MINE UP TODAY

    Upgrades
    MOS- optic mounting system
    Single Slot Pic Rail
    nDLC coating
    'Marksman' barrel

    Notes:
    - Neither the TLR6 nor TLR8 will fit on this pistol. The pic rail prevents the TLR6 from proper seating and frame/trigger guard area isn't long enough for the TLR8 lug to make contact.
    - LEFTIES- Shield Arms DOES NOT yet make LH 15rd mags... so you have to keep your mag release set up for a RH if you want to run that style magazine.

Nice. I plan on picking up a 48.

FYI, ones with the accessory rail have been in Europe for a while. Surefire created a light for it and it's looking like they will be releasing that here as well.

Great to know!! I was a little disappointed when I tried to put on my TLR6.

I've got a 48 on hold at GT. I'll pick it up this week.

Have you decided on an optic for it?

No. That will be something I do much later. At least I have the option for it.

I was going to buy one but there only a few RDS that will fit them so I opted for the regular mode 43X.

Also as mentioned above most lights on the market won’t fit either.

TLR 7 Sub that just came out fits the 43X MOS and 48 MOS. I’m wanting to play with one and see if if it belongs on my 48.

RMRCC has been good to me on my 43x MOS using the C&H plate.

Will be looking into the 7-sub.

Get the Shield mags!! Get on the waitlist through the company is the fastest way I’ve seen.

I ordered 4 S15s directly from Shield about 6 weeks ago. They took 12 days from order to my door. Not near as bad as I was expecting.

My 48 MOS with 507K and Overwatch Precision trigger. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed carrying this setup, and with the S15s I can’t see a reason for me to change.

I recently purchased a 43X and am wanting to put a sight very similar to the one you have. My slide isn’t machined for install. Is there an adapter plate or an aftermarket slide I can get to install?

I went with the CHPWS plate. Very easy install, and the height is perfect. That said I’ve got another 48 I’m thinking about having milled to install the sight slightly lower just to compare the two. Not sure that I’ll like it more, but more just a proof of theory type thing in my head.

Sorry I just caught that you don’t have your slide milled. Unfortunately you’ll have to have it milled regardless. At the very least tapped, but that would put your sight a decent bit higher than I’d liked. Then I’d ASSUME you could possibly have sight shift issues without a perfect inlet to keep it place even with torqued and thread locked screws. I could be wrong on that aspect. Either way I’d send the side off to get milled, and tell them which sight you’d like to run. They can mill it for the sight, and no plate will be needed.

These new sub-compact Glocks along with the S15 mags push them to the top of the cc category... above the Sig P365 or 365XL and Hellcat IMO. Especially with the aftermarket parts availability that come with Glocks. Heck, these basically make the G19’s obsolete now.
