Sig Tango 4 or Leupold VX3i.

Guys, I am looking for a scope to put on my 6.5cm and need some advice. I was going to go with a Meopta Optika 6 but the backorder is like 3 months. I currently own a Leupold VX3i LRP and a Meopta Optika 6 but no experience with Sig Tango 4 Scopes. My Meopta to me has better glass than the VX3i but I want to hear if you have any experience with the Sig Tango 4 glass and what is their glass compared to. Thanks

I work with a guy who brought a Sig scope into work he was thinking about putting on one of his rifles. It had nice glass, was clear and bright but it was very, very heavy compared to all of the Leupold's I have.

yes the meopta is around 10oz heavier than the Leupold and the Sig is around 6oz.

I have both. I prefer the Sig's, but I bought the VX3i LRP 8.5-25. The Tango's I have are 4-16, and a 6-24. I prefer starting with a lower magnification then 8.5, have no idea what I was thinking when I bought that one. The scope itself works fine, not a fan of the huge elevation turret on it though, looks out of place to me.

I think they are comparable. To my eyes, there really isn't a winner in the clarity department, I think both are very good for their price points. MAYBE a very slight edge to the Leupy, but it's extremely slight.

Thanks guys, I went an order one 6-24x50 with the MOA reticle. Price was $504 plus tax from Optics Planet. It is going to be mounted on my Wal-Mart special Savage Axis 6.5cm. I ordered a Boyds Spike Camp Stock for it and upgraded the trigger.
