School me on this chambering please.
If I understand correctly, a Wylde barrel will shoot .223 Rem and 5.56 safely and accurately.
A 5.56 barrel will shoot both safely but may lose some accuracy on the .223 Rem.
A .223 Rem barrel should only shoot .223Rem - primarily for safety reasons.
IF I’m understanding correctly, why would you choose 5.56 over Wylde? Or is the Wylde chambering benefit mythical or over-rated?
