Cerekote color issue

I ordered “Gunmetal Grey”, sprayed today and finish turned out awesome but it’s gold or a greenish gold, no where close to grey.

Anyone else experience this?

Gunmetal grey is not gold. This is even more gold than Burnt Bronze

Picture? Don’t think I’ve sprayed gunmetal but I’ve seen it, I suppose hardener ratio could affect it as well as if you flashed it prior to final cure.

Can post pics tomorrow but mix was 18:1 per the chart.

Ratio was 18:1, cured @ 350 for 2.5 hours

Try a sample part with the same ratio but flash it off for 15m at 82C and then final cure at 121C/ 250F for 2 hours. Some colors will change at higher temps mostly the whites, and yellows, but it could be the same problem here

Even if it was mislabeled any of the bronze Metallics would be noticeable in the bottle because they’re very different colors.

My guess would be the bake temperature. Try it lower

Glad I could help. It did produce an interesting color though, almost like the tan anodizing color
