I'm thinking of getting rid of a safe queen that I don't shoot to buy a new shotgun. Marlin 39a, gold trigger, about 10-15 years old. hand checkering on stock. Looks like the "Fancy" from their custom shop now. Gun is in great shape. I can't find any like it for sale to really compare. I know they stopped production and it is only available thru the custom shop for $3700. Any idea on value?

Unfortunately they haven’t gone up in value much the later guns 39as (crossbolt safety) aren’t really popular they have a rebounding hammer that was not overly reliable light strikes (there are a couple fixes) and two extra holes in the receiver (lawyer holes) one to see if a round is in the chamber and one to see any rounds left in magazine I would say $500 to $600 in excellent condition
