Suppressor in Jail-- and it ain't the Feds

    Check cashed 5/15/19

    Form 4 was approved 4/20/20

E-mail sent to the Silencer Shop inquiring on status 6/10/20

Canned response received same day saying I'll hear from my dealer (Brothers in Arms) when they get the stamped Form 4. If it's been 10 months I can call the BATF. I did that, which is how I found out it was approved two months ago.

My previous suppressors have been picked up at the place I bought them-- the Silencer Shop. Not really sure what's going on but this one can't be blamed on the feds! Let's get our act together, private sector!

Have you called BIA? If they have it they will call but sometimes mistakes happen.

My original stamped form for my M16 went missing & had to request a certified copy...kind of a bummer as they emboss the copy but don't issue another actual stamp.

Same issue as yours & was approved months before.

Yessir-- e-mailed and left a message.

I'll post up resolution, which will hopefully be quick!

Well— Brothers In Arms is a cool shop and they had it and took care of me.
I did get a follow up email from SS that 7-9 weeks from approval to receipt of the stamp is typical, so we’re right in that window. I believe this one was 356 days from submission to approval and 421 days to can in hand.

I hope so too for your sake!

Rugged Radiant 7.62 is a beauty. I'm excited to take it out.

Everything I've read is approvals are faster than ever.. People are working from home and the lack of office gossip has upped the efficiency apparently.. However, turning in all their work and getting to the mailbox is slower than ever, stamps are taking FOREVER to get mailed out after being approved.. My approval was 6/1 and still waiting

I just got my can last week. Submitted all paperwork 8/23/19 so it ended up being right at 10 months. My second can started on March 15th or so. Hopefully the "it's not taking as long" works out for me.

Well that kills the batch approval theory lol. Glad I didn’t jump on that bandwagon lol
