Update:
I'm sure the new will wear off at some point, but dang these things are FUN right now! We shot our first match with them last weekend out to 350 yds and ended up taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd with them. Took them out to 500 yds this afternoon and things got much trickier! Haha. Wind was pushing them around pretty good, mirage was terrible and you couldn't hear the impacts. We just assumed if we didn't see a splash in the dirt, it just might have been an impact! Drove down to the target and found this.....


I normally wouldn't be that excited about a bunch of impacts spread across a 12" plate, but its a little different with a tiny 40gr subsonic pill from 500 It's crazy just how closely this resembles shooting the big gun out around 3K yds. It sure keeps you on your toes with the wind calls!

There seems to be a ton of interest in this around our area, so we are going to set up a monthly 22 ELR match in the D/FW area starting next month. Hopefully some of our TBH shooters will join us! Any decent shooting 22 will work just fine, just need to figure out a scope/base combo that gets you out to 500ish.
