Carry pistol for lefties

Looking to get a semi auto for carrying. I’ve always had revolvers. What are you south paws carrying?

I am a lefty and carry an xdm compact. That said right handed pistols work fine for lefties so buy whichever one you like. The one exception is that if you get something with a thumb safety, it needs to be ambi.

Any Gen4 or Gen 5 glock can have the mag release switched to the opposite side for left handed use.

That being said I typically carry a Gen3 Glock 19 that is setup for right hand use. It really isn’t that difficult to get used to manipulating the gun and operating all of the controls with your left hand.

I carry either a Glock 43.... or a Glock 23.

I carry the Ruger SR40. The SR series is slimmer than most 1911’s. It’s got the ambidextrous safety and is a smooth shooter. I carry it in a crossbreed super tuck.
