2020 Wait time for LTC?

Just wondering what type of wait times yall are experiencing to get back your LTC? Kind of thinking this Rona' has thrown a wrench in back ground checks.

Less than 6 weeks from app to pocket. My buddy submitted 2 days before me and still nothing.

Less than 8 weeks for the wife...that was 3-4 months ago.

Mine was fast they told me 5 weeks it was like 2. Back in December 2020

My renewals have taken about 2 weeks most times.

It took about 3 months in 1996 when I got mine.

Good question.
You may apply for your renewal up to 6 months before you license expires and no more than 12 months after it expires. If your handgun license is expired for more than 12 months you will have to retake the entire course just like a new student.

I would send it in about June or July and don't forget

Son took the course mid December, submitted fingerprints/photo early January. He received his CHL around 1/28 or 29.

I submitted my renewal in mid October, received the new one four weeks later.

I am. It doesn’t show up. The only thing on the page is an application for instructor certification.

Yeah, that's the way it looks for a while, like the link doesn't even take you to the right place. Then one day, that same link takes you to a status page, and you can see the progress of your background check, printing, mailing, etc. But, it shouldn't take 4 months to get there. It was just weeks.
