Tikka Rifles

I have several custom rifles but Tikka still intrigues me. Is there a different between the T3 and T3X actions, what kind of accuracy are you seeing And if anyone has a manners eh1-a stock how did you go about ordering it because their stock builder doesn’t have the option.

As far as the action goes, T3x has a metal bolt shroud, and steel recoil lug.

In regards to accuracy / cost the tikka is the current 700 of old imo...I don't own one but hear nothing but positive reviews in regards to consistency of how well they are grouping out of the box.

Another sight I am on swear by tikka. Most are getting .5 and sometimes better groups with most of them. So they say. I was convinced enough by pictures to buy a tac a1 in 6.5 creedmoor. ( most are shooting the t3 or x on that sight though). There is also a place selling them for 499.00 stainless in 6.5 creedmoor right now. ( lockedandloaded.com).
I have not had a chance to get out and shoot mine. But the bolt and everything about them while comparing them, is far above most of the even more expensive rifles.

I dropped mine into a B&C Medalist and skim bedded them. I eventually found a hotter node, but don’t have pictures of them. Even without the hand loads and minor upgrades, they were still very accurate.

I checked their site. It shows $460 for blued but $798 for stainless?

When I was shopping for them, you went to the sight found the gun ( I believe it shows 789.00) and have them e-mail you a price. Should come back 499.99, and they give you so much time to complete the order. I however called Dack Outdoors.com ( I bought a tikka a1, and locked and loaded didn’t have a great deal on it like they did the t3) locked and loaded had a decent price on the a1 but Dack outdoors beat them by a few bucks. So I ordered mine from them. I do not know if Dack will beat the 499.99 but it’s worth a try if you ask me.

Ah I gotcha. I thot you meant the Tac A1 was on sale for $460, not the blued T3.

Love my t3 lite stainless in .270. Killing machine, and the smoothest action of any bolt action I’ve ever shot.
