    Aftermarket Night Sights for Glock

As the title states, I’m needing to buy a set of night sights for a Glock 19. I have Trijicon HD’s a couple of other guns that I like ok, but wanted to see what everybody else runs. This will be a carry gun, so I want sights that are quick to acquire, but still accurate.

I don't like the HD's for a carry gun as the rear sight is swept back towards the rear of the slide and that pointed edge cuts into me.
I've tried some others as well (meprolight, glock, xs, etc) but and just prefer the standard Trijicon night sights.

Don’t carry all that frequently but my choice for night sights on my Glocks is always factory night sights.

I’ve got a set of the Truglo TFO that came on my 19. No complaints. I’ve shot a few matches with that pistol and they haven’t flown off yet.

I run the Ameriglo with the Orange front post.

My eyes pick up on that quicker than the standard white.

I don't use night sights, I don't see the need for them. All you need is a good weapon mounted light.

Get it cut for a red dot.

I use TruGlo TFX Pros on my G43. Would highly recommend.

Truglo TFX is what I have on two of my carry pistols. Very bright day or night.

The factory glock sights are heard to beat and only about 60-70$.

                    Sierracharlie out…

I just put these on my Shield and my 19. Primary Arms had a good sale on them, about $65 a set. So far, so good. With the monovision Lasik I had done, my left eye was trying to take over at arm's length with regular 3 dot sights. I would have to close the left to be able to shoot without seeing 6 dots. The bright orange alleviated that.

I would highly recommend staying away from the truglo sights. I used to machine their sights and the QC out of that shop is knowingly garbage. Parts machined out of tolerance and fiber optic holes drilled over sized.

It will be a crap shoot to get a good set or not from them.

Check out gt distributors they sell the glock factory night sites for around $50. My son put some on his 17 and they look good.

As others have said Factory Night sights are hard to beat. You'll want a good sight pusher to install them. I have this one and like it:
