    Double Triggered Rifles

Like or no like as the Title says. I know trigger tension has changed over the years, just wondering.

I like set triggers. Gives you some flexibility. One of the reasons I love the cz rifles is the set trigger on it.

At one point we had a German built Mauser, mannlicher stock, butter knife bolt handle and double set triggers. Man, it was a beautiful rifle. The set triggers too a little to get used to for me. Because the first trigger had a fairly heavy pull, then the second trigger was very light, short and crisp. Pulling that set trigger, then touching the main trigger, multiple times I set the gun off, before I was ready. I normally have all of my guns set with very light, short, crisp, triggers. Once I got used to it, I really liked the gun.

Really like the set trigger on my CZ 527 Varmint. I mostly use the set trigger if I am at the bench or maybe a prairie dog town. The standard trigger is very crisp and also adjustable so when I am calling varmints, it is what I use. With a set trigger you definitely do not want to be in a situation where you have to be moving around much.
