APR should be finished with my build soon and trying to figure out what bullet I'm going to hunt with. Looking to hear from others that have a PRC, 6.5x284 or even 264 win mag. Shot max on game will be 500 and under. Need something that will hold up to close range impacts and also help with wind on longer shots. This rifle will be going to New Mexico next season for Mule Deer.

I second this motionI'd like some feedback as well. This bullet is about the perfect fit with our chamber as it optimizes case capacity when loaded to the lands........and still has plenty of mag clearance. Looks like it would provide a good blend of velocity and BC for a hunting bullet. I know it shoots well..........just have not seen any results on game.

Wife shot this 200lb boar with the 130 TGK. She hit him in Shoulder and it exited 3-4 inches behind opposite shoulder, you can see the blood on dirt where bullet exited. Distance was 160 yards. She loves shooting my 6.5 prc so I had APR build her one, they called And told me it’s ready to be picked up can’t wait to get my hands on it.

This is the feedback I was hoping for. I plan to load the 130 TGK in my prc as well.
I haven't shot anything other than factory in mine as I've been focusing on other loading but this is next on my list.
I've always thought the sgk was under rated and a deadly killer, while they didn't greatly improve the bc, adding a plastic tip is a start.
