    CMC 2 Stage trigger issue

My rifle is a DPMS LR308 with the fixed flat trigger guard.
    I am NOT a gunsmith.

I have/had the Black Rain Ordinance trigger in my AR10 since I bought couple years ago now. I didn't like it. It's never let me down. I just think it felt heavy, gritty and it had a long pull. Gunsmith measured it at 5.5#, Black Rain Ordinance website says 3.5#

I've wanted a CMC Flat Bow Trigger for a while now. I recently found 2 on TBH. 1 is a single stage competition trigger the other is a 2 Stage trigger. Both are flat Bow.

I just finished installing them to try. Almost :-( I started with the 2 Stage cause I think I might like it. I followed their YouTube video on installing it. Got it out in and cycled it. Wouldn't fire. I looks the trigger bow is hitting the trigger guard.

Put the single stage in and it works.

Just an FYI for those with the DPMS lr308 looking at the CMC 2-Stage trigger. I looked on CMC's Website and haven't seen anything. I have contacted CMC. Waiting on their response. I'm guessing it'll be Monday before they respond.

Here's a picture of the clearance on the 2 Stage.

The Single Stage has about the same.

I’m confident they will take care of you.
Keep us updated on the issue.
Love my CMC two stage, great for a precision AR IMO.

      As am I.

I've dry fired the single stage a few times. It's a 2.5# trigger.
WOW!! It's light and I like it a lot.
Exactly what I have been wanting

I’d say that’s a problem. Personally, I’d file a little off the inside of the trigger guard and off the bottom of the trigger shoe.

I thought about filing some off. I just couldn't bring myself to do it my brain's weird
I'd rather buy a new trigger than file this one....

I did measure from the bottom of the trigger case to the bottom of the trigger shoe. The old trigger and 1 stage are 1 ⅜" the 2 stage is 1¼".

Yeahhhh im not trying to be ugly but it ain't the trigger, its the rifle.. since u can't go with an enhanced trigger guard you're gonna need a different trigger(i wouldn't recommend)..when made in the factory i bet their tolerances are so close, they're all gonna do it unless you grind that foot off bout 5 thousandths of an inch

File the trigger down a bit.
