Trigger/action work in north Texas McKinney area?

I inherited a 30.06 with Mauser action and custom stock from FIL , had a buddy look at it and made the above suggestions. Any recommendations and cost ideas. To clarify, the trigger has a lot of creep and action just doesn’t feed well. Thanks in advance.

There’s a smith in Princeton I’ve used for some inletting work. Gene Williams is his name. Phone is 214-673-5510. Might try giving him a call, he is retired so he’s not the fastest, especially with the holidays but he’s the only true gunsmith I know of in the area

Timney makes a trigger that will fit a Mauser action.
