you have to have one chambered...carry a revolver if a hot auto scares you.

If you get jumped and need to fight off with the weak hand, how in the heck are you going to chamber?? Don't do it.

I used to never chamber but learned from more seasoned folks on here years ago to chamber. I am always chambered now!

Train train train. I carry appendix. For that reason I carry a striker fired handgun with a safety. I practice drawing almost every night. Eventually, flicking the safety off becomes muscle memory.

My carry weapon has a safety that is turned off when holstered and on when stored. You're carrying a gun not a hammer, always carry hot.

Also remember that; if you think striker guns with a round chambered are unsafe, and don't want an auto with a safety that needs to be engaged, want more capacity than a revolver, there are plenty of nice DA/SA autos on the market.

With a DA/SA gun you can have no safety, hammer down on a loaded chamber, and a gun that is ready to go as soon as it comes out of the holster. They are not for everyone, but it is another option

I have an lcp and have it chambered at all times. Rule one of a pocket pistol, no coon fingering the trigger.

My question is those of y’all that do carry with glocks or with a trigger safety do y’all keep one chambered?
A gun with an empty chamber is a brick to hit folks with. Draw is slow draw and chamber is slower.

That’s why every gun I have is loaded with one chambered. I was asking just to be curious about when y’all carry.
