    Burris Eliminator 3

My buddy got one of these scopes and mounted it on a 6.5 Creedmoor and I have to admit it's a pretty sweet setup. I've always been reluctant to buy one but I see one in my future. Prairie dog sized targets out to 362 yards,no problem. I say 362 yards but it's probably capable of doing better than that. That's just the furthest I've seen it hit something so far. If you've thought about getting one or are thinking about it I'd say it's a good choice.

The only trouble I can see with it is trying to range something that's moving. They're pricey but they're awesome. It beats trying to Arkansas it when you have to long bomb a critter.

I’ve thought about it, but was scared of having a failure at the worse time and I do t need range and adjustment at far distances not 300. 362 on a small target is impressive

I've thought the same thing but I think if a guy is aware that it is battery operated and stays on top of keeping the batteries fresh and paying attention to the battery life indicator it should do fine. And it's very simple to set up. All you have to do is zero your rifle and select yards or meters, how far you're zeroed in at and BC of the load you're using and you're ready to go.

If it was complicated I sure wouldn't be suggesting it. But it's still early so only time will tell how it holds up in extremely cold weather and how wind affects the functionality of the scope. But I really think it'll come in handy calling coyotes when one hangs up and won't come any closer.

I'd also like to see what it does beyond 400 yards.

I’ve got the sig BDX and it’s awesome. I can’t speak for the Burris. But the BDX is worth it.

I had to check that out. So you need a rangefinder and the scope and they synch to your Bluetooth? From what I gathered the rangefinder gives you the bullet drop, windage and of course the range of the target?
