Picked up one of these for the kids. Anyone here have some experience with it? Kills distance ammo etc....I'm looking for an over the counter deer load also. Thanks in advance

I bought one to varmint hunt with. Hornady came out with some v-max for it. -
I’ve made quite a few kills with mine from 50-325 so far. I’m shooting a more precision oriented rifle, but I haven’t had anything take more than a couple steps with either a 108 EDLM or 103 ELDX. Both factory Hornady loads, and have stretched both past 1200 with excellent results.Comment

I had one built for this yrs TBH APR special and it shoots lights out with Hornady 108 eldm factory loads. Haven't gotten to test it on any animals yet. Hoping to soon if it ever cools down a little. But I'm sure it will do great. 243 has been a hammer for decades.Comment
