They are running a "sale" on Carhartt stuff

I needed a couple more pairs of pants for the farm and thought with free shipping over $49 I would take advantage

They TRIED to sneak a $6+ supplier shipping fee in on me but the bottom line didn't add up

I had a similar thing happen the other day from their email. They had a rifle rest with a "free" rear bag. When you put it in the cart it didn't qualify. Then shipping was extra as well. WTH.

Had a problem with Brownells also. The had a one cent hazmat on powder. It checked out fine but they charged me an extra $20 dollars when they shipped. I called and got it straight. So yes you have to watch them.

I did put the code in

shipping line said FREE

Had another line that said "supplier shipping fee"

So I guess if you didn't put the code in they would charge you 2 shipping fees

Chicken **** move in my eyes but maybe some are ok with the tactics

BTW a quick Google search found me a bigger discount than the $5 "sale" they were having

yepp, been done the same way by all of them, sometimes not all items are eligible for free shipping, i definitely learned all those tricks the hard way! i won't get so upset that i let a good deal slip by though, i just watch them real good now. i just got a screaming deal on a case trimmer that was on sale at Midsouth suppliers, and Midway still beat their price by 40.00 with free shipping.

Strange...I have never had any issues with Midway. Always got great deals and customer support from them and even a day after I ordered once. A free shipping code appeared. I called, asked and they applied it to my previous order and I got a credit.
I will be on the lookout. Thanks.

I used to check them out for ammo from time to time but I also had little fees pop up once i checked out so I stopped using them. Regardless, GrabAGun.com is the cheapest ammo i can find anywhere so I use them. Best part is since they're in Coppell, I can place an order online and run over and pick it up for free.

They are quick to ship and standard shipping is at my door in 3 days. I cant say that about any other business besides Amazon.

I have had to keep an eye out for the codes and hidden fees but I guess I order so often that is second nature!
