Also i used a 1-1/8 piece of plywood that worked great for my top. I would suggest that or Metal. I am not a fan of the the Dillon Strong Mounts i prefer to mount my 550s and 650s to the table directly. Also Get your presses first then build the table so you will know where to put your 2X4 runner underneath on the front so that it doesnt fall under the bolt holes.
You dont want it out flush but inset back about 4" So thats why you need the thick top.
If you put the 2x4 out flush at the front some presses will hit it when stroked downward.
