I don’t think you would have a problem in a two man ground blind. I have the legs set at 45 degrees. They can be moved in tighter and take up less space.

I think quackadikt was just meaning he wished the head would change out to allow mounting an optic

The saddle is made onto the pan and tilt portion, does not separate

I could be missing something, but I don't see why you couldn't clamp the jaws around your binocs.
