    Ruger Customer Service

    I've had to call twice over the last few months, once my fault and once about a crummy plastic magazine that broke. Both times I got excellent customer service, really excellent. Called about my magazine today, told me no money due and had a shipping notice from Ruger at lunch. Good Stuff,

      Wasn't too thrilled about my conversation with a rep from Ruger yesterday. I was asking for specifications on height in inches of their proprietary mount featured on the Ruger American Predator rifle. Felt like I had to explain multiple times what I was asking for, in different ways. Explained the reasoning for the question (Scope ring height estimation), and the rep gave a condescending tone as if it was such an off the wall question and I was a burden.

      I understand each rep might have their good and bad days. Hopefully the next interaction is different. Love their products!

        Gun companies generally offer really good customer service.

          I've had pleasant experiences with Ruger in talking with their staff. Now to see if they actually fix the issue once they get the rifle

            Sent off a LCR .357 to them that the cylinder wouldn't eject. They said that if it cost more than $30 to ship, call them for a shipping label. FedEx cut me a deal through work and it ended up being $27. They overnighted it back for free and it was looking brand new - had to do a double take because I thought they'd replaced it or something. Fixed and cleaned for free and free return shipping. No complaints here.
