I have one. Nilgai killer for sure. I shoot 225gr Barnes, velocity is 2600fps. Mine is a ruger Hawkeye, with a vias brake and a pachmyer decelerator butt pad. It’s a nice gun with nice wood -

not personally but a close friend has one,, i helped him work up some loads for it,,, great cartridge and yes it qualifies as a hammer! We had loads worked up exceeding 3000 fps with a 180 gr slug,,,, a bit more than needed so after backing it down a bit he settled on that as his go to round, very accurate.... and no i will not give the load data,,, it was way hotter than any modern manual lists.....Comment
