    AR 15 barrel question

I'm trying to build another AR and I want an 18" barrel on this one. I'm not breaking the bank but also not going full on cheap. I decided on a Ballistic Advantage barrel by Hanson, but they're out of stock everywhere I've looked. I did find on their website they're offering an 18" blemished barrel. Has anyone ever bought blemished parts for their AR? What's the consensus? Thanks in advance,
    Coon

I've bought blemished parts but nothing that had to do with the accuracy of the rifle (I've bought upper/lower receivers, hand guards, and a stock that was blem). I would try and talk to somebody at the manufacturer to see if they could tell you what "blemished" meant to them. I would bet it would be something to do with the finish or a handling mark...

I would assume they wouldn’t sell any barrels blemished that had anything to do with the blemish being internal. I would probably guarantee the blemish is cosmetic and sometimes you might not notice anything at all. If that’s the barrel you want, they are pretty good for the price, then get it most of your barrel will be covered by hand guard as well

It will be a cosmetic blemish.

This is what I was thinking, also.

I have bought a blem hanson barrel before. Honestly, I never found the blemish. IT will only be cosmetic, and won't affect the firing in any way.
