How are these treating you inside of 20?

Seen some great reviews on these but can’t find them local. Amazon prime needs to get in the ammo business!

Devastating, be careful at close range though. if your shooting a full choke pattern still really tight inside 15 yards with the long beards anyways

Why? My man card still safe and sound in my wallet and I’m eating turkey tonight! Seriously though easterns seem to be a lot harder to kill than a rio. You have to work to tag out here. Been hunting turkeys a long time kind dumb to me to just kill what you call in close doesn’t always work that way. Esp with a wise ol limb hanger. Prefer them close but i prefer turkey fajitas a lot more

Not your best choice for inside 20 yards...use above recommendations

If on property with skittish birds, it’s money

I've killed a bunch of them over the years with my Remington 1100, Modified choke. Get them at 35 yards or less and you can kill them with any High brass load (I prefer #6). I've killed a few well beyond 35 with Plain old Remington High Brass #6 as well.

Honestly any high brass load with #4-6 with a full or modified choke is all you need or you can go the route of a rifle, centerfire or rimfire.

I have recently started shooting TSS with an extended extra full choke getting great patterns to 50 yds, but wouldn’t hesitate to take a shot at 60 yds.

Yes the high brass shells work well

In fact, my biggest gobbler ever was taken with 3” steel shot...somehow a shell got mixed in & it worked fine

Go pattern what you have. And see how far it is lethal.
                                ^^ this

That said, you'd hate to be stuck with a gobbler hung up at 60 yards and a 20 ga. with dove load.

I was glad to have a 3-1/2" Nitro Turkey (Nos. 4, 5 & 6) in my 870 Super Mag with an xtrafull when that happened to me.
