AR question..

Forgive me folks. I am new to the AR scene and am unfortunately ignorant of a lot of things AR...
I recently picked up a 204 ruger and it has a Tac Star fixed stock with adjustable LOP and cheek piece.
I assume it is a "rifle length" stock but I am clueless and am just guessing....
I want to change it out to a carbine length 6 position adjustable stock.......what all do I need to procure to make the swap? I assume that it would be just the stock, buffer tube, buffer spring, buffer, castle nut. Is there any thing I am forgetting or am I totally off base

Just buy a complete kit and be good to go. Generally cheaper than piecing it together, and you know you’ve got all the right parts.
