Yeah my guessto him was $1,000. Not too sure obviously.

Everyone I’ve seen in the pst year has been $800+ leaning more towards the $1k mark of higher depending on condition

Mint..unfired.... Does it have the original box?

I'm betting that early one is a non checkered stock...I think 900-1k is about right.

The early ones in 22mag bring a bit more.

Yeah it’s all smooth wood. No checker. Still has tag on lever. Not sure about box. He didn’t say.

It’s definitely worth $1,000.... If it has the original box..even more....

Original packaging for those particular guns can add upwards of 20% to the firearm value depending on condition...one thing about older colts & winchesters. They made great guns, but really crappy packaging!!
