I've put about 700 rounds through mine without a hiccup. There's nothing on the market that can compete with it with regard to size and capacity. It's my EDC.

Xds9 here.....but the extra mag capacity has me looking hard at the Sig. I read they had some hiccups on the 1st gen though?
In, was just thinking on picking one of these up and wondering if anyone was still having issues with them.
IMHO, much of the negative stuff had to do with one particular Youtuber who claimed to have gotten 3 bad ones. There's a better than average chance that he searched for bad guns to up his YouTube rating. I'm not saying that there weren't problems for some of the guns that were released early on, but, if you look at the totality of issues over time, it's obvious that these issues have been addressed. Than being said, every gun guy on YouTube knows he can up his numbers by posting a failure with a gun, any gun. The primary complaint that you will see is primer drag. The idea is that excess primer drag will cause striker fracture. Well, if you look at virtually any micro 9m, you will see striker drag. The reason is that, with a small, light slide and barrel, the barrel unlocks from the slide faster than with a full sized pistol. This is simple physics. Mine has striker drag like everyone else's, but so does my S&W Shield.
I’ve had mine since July and absolutely could not be happier. I carry with the pinky plate standard mag as the flat mag just doesn’t catch enough of my hand. I might add that the 12rd mag provides a nice backup and is only about 1/4” longer than the pinky mag. Most standard stock sights on these micro carry class guns are junk and I end up spending money and replacing with aftermarket upgrades. Not with this SIG. The P365 has the X-ray green night sights which is actually a steel body. I also like the shape of the finger guard...the way it rises up makes the gun have great ergonomics and just fits my hand well. The only thing about this firearm that I’m not extremely excited about is the trigger. But then, my opinion of most striker-fired triggers is just meh anyway. That little bit of negativity goes away as soon as I put it in my hand and compare it in size to ALL my other sub compacts....then factor in the CAPACITY!! I’ve owned .380s that were bigger!!
At the end of the day, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MATH WITH ME and this little sub compact has held up to it’s hype so far. I’ve only run 5 boxes of various ammo (both ball and jhp) down the pipe so far with not a single hiccup.
The thing is small!! [emoji15]
I cussed Glock for years wanting them to produce a real single stack carry pistol and then when they came out with the G42 and G43 I had to have the later. Well here’s the P365 stacked up next to the G42....and packing 4 extra rounds to boot!! [emoji123]
This is what all the hoopla is about. The magazine design. No other firearm manufacturer figured it out before SIG

My Kydex holster from We The People.
Looks nice! Hows the grip? I install Talon rubbers on all my poly guns.

I actually installed the Talon grips on mine last week but only because I got them on the Academy clearance deal for $5.
The standard SIG grip was already very aggressive as you probably know. It didn’t make much, if any difference IMO.
Btw, I also bought 3 extra standard 10rd mags for $15 ea during the Academy deal.
