never had any issue with a tube fed marlin not feeding, I have had several over the years and the years go back to 1970,,, look for a used tube fed marlin, pre rem,, it will be worth the price

The savage 93 is a shooter.

If you can spend a bit more the CZ is very nice

Love my Savage 93. It came with a scope mounted for under $300

My 17 home savage 93 was a shooter. I highly suggest a savage

I don't really have a recommendation but I will say stay awat from the Remington 597 22 mag. I have a heavy barrel laminated and it looks good pretty accurate but half the time doesn't go bang when you pull the trigger ! sat on hold with remington customer service for an hour and a half and finally gave up !

X1000 I got the compact version for ease of handling in the truck. Love it!

I've got a tube fed 783 that's been awesome. Took it on a trade 25+ years ago and it turned in to one of my faves! Seems to shoot great no matter what ammo.
As far as the tube feed issues...never have or heard of it but I also don't leave it fully loaded with the tube spring fully compressed all the time. Need to clean those mag tubes on occasion as well. Good luck and have fun! (I want a Henry next!)
