The only Henry Levergun I was disappointed with was the 410 versions.

I’ve had to do a trigger job on ALL of the others.

I like loading gates but the tube doesn’t bother me.

Folk with loading gate problem either don’t know how to do a job on it or don’t know about Ranger Point Precision’s aftermarket gate.

My favorite Henry is 44 Carbine with Skinner Sights and small loop lever

I have big Boy steel in .41 mag and love it. The large lever loop so very easy to install.
Also have 17hmr and it is fun to shoot. Put a redfield on it and it will flat put shoot .
The .41 mag will be hog hunting in about a month.
I actually like the loading setup and you can dump the whole tube without cycling the action.
