    Which one 450, 458 or 50 bawolf

I’ve got an itch for a big price of lead. I found all 3 calibers locally, all 3 are Radical Firearms. This would be just something to punch hogs & conversation piece among friends.

the 450 uses handgun bullets, which means they are more likely to come apart at rifle velocity, the 50 beowulf also uses handgun bullets, the 458 socom uses rifle bullets ... i have a friend who has the 50, i like it but could not find one,, i did find a 458 and i am glad i did, absolutely awesome round!! ammo for it is more expensive but is starting to come down as they become more popular

I'm thinking about a lever 45-70 for this.

450 performs with no flaws. I have two. Started shooting it around 10 years ago. Ammo is getting easier to find than in the past. And much cheaper than the 458 or 50.

I like the idea of a carbine length lever 45-70. That would be cool. The big 45s and 50 would be fun in an AR. Alas, I can justify neither!

I have A 458 Socom, and it does have the effect of putting a big grin on your face after the shot
I have had some jamming problems with it. Some guys suggested some different mags to try but haven't had a chance to try the yet .

              I’d go 458

It would all come down to ballistics for me.

I always see people commenting on 450, and how the use pistol bullets. I doubt many of these people have killed anything with one.
I have a CVA with 23-1/4barrel + brake. I’m sure I’m doing a little better than factory velocity (rated at 20” barrel.
I haven’t seen a hog stop my Hornady 250 FTX yet, even at 150 yards. What I have found is lungs and chunks of meat 4-6’ down the Sendero. This makes me smile.

I have the .450. There has been 5 people kill deer with my Bushmaster. I want to try the new Federal loads.

Can't comment on the others, but my .450 Bushmaster has stopped several big hogs in their tracks. I have a Nikon BDC shotgun scope on it and the reticule is dead on.

I thought part of the deal was "cinder block going over a cliff" trajectory. The bullets look (and hit) like brick walls.

I have a socom but even hand loading it’s pricey to shoot but fun. I might have been better going 450 bushmaster just for the bullet availability.
