    Weatherby Mark V

I found a Mark V in synthetic and stainless that looks to be like new. It does have a Nikon Buckmaster scope which I would replace. It’s in 22-250, are these guns hard to find? I can’t find any online to get an idea of what it’s worth.
Any value advice would be mucho appreciated.

Try to find out more about it if you can. My initial guess is that it is a Varmintmaster, but would need a pic to be sure. On Weatherby Nation there are comments indicating the 22-250 in a Mark V can be challenging to find.

Have seen comments indicating prices between $1000-2700, which is pretty common for every type of Mark V ever made.

Thanks PD, appreciate the info. Looks like it is the 6 lug, serial number starts with “WS”
Not many out there to get a value, they are asking $1K for it. Not sure I really want it, I’m more of a wood stock fan, may hold off and try and find the CDL in that caliber.

I can understand. Mark V’s are heavy. Although I imagine a 22-250 would barely kick, you’d be lugging around a heavy gun. I have one in 300 wby, a 9 lug 30-06, and a 460. Great guns, extremely accurate, just don’t wanna hike too far with one.
