Son loves his 7mm08

My sons 7mm 08 is ready to roll for deer season. Plinking at steel at 500 for the first time

I’m one of the ones waiting for the 20” 7mm’s too. Based on earlier posts we should be getting real close to the finish line. Can’t wait!

7-08 shorties will start delivering this week. Pretty sure most of them made it through chambering last week and 4 of them were already in coating on Friday when I last checked.

I have 2 of the short 7-08’s coming up. Need scope recommendations. 20 in 7-08 shooting nosler 150 gr BT through an Omega. Needs to available from Cabela’s/bass pro. Prefer Swaro or Leupold. I’d like to get to 800 yards. I don’t like huge objectives that have to be mounted high.

i put the 3-15-44 version on my sons 7mm 08 shorty that he shoots suppressed as well. It is more than enough needed
