Both are capable of subsonic work and both can be somewhat accurate but dont expect sub moa out of subs.

My supers are wicked accurate at 100yds. 5 shot group with my Remmy 300blk bolt gun.

I have this in 308. With a silencerco omega. I shot 4 deer last year with Beck Anmunition expanding ammo. Farthest shot was 130 yds. Nothing ran over 40 yds. I shot them like I would with a bow. Making sure not to hit the shoulder bone. Wicked Quiet!!!

Super accurate there. But with subs it's just the fact they go so slow. A 1-10 will stabilize the right size 308. Don't expect a 220gr to stabilize and don't load them and first rounds shoot it through the can. Shoot a good 15-20 without the suppressor and look at the paper down range at 50 yards. It they are perfect holes your good to go. If they look lopsided don't shoot those through the can

I haven't tried subs yet since i don't have a can....yet. but if my subs shoot anywhere close to what my supers(1860fps) do, them bunnies and piggies don't stand a chance.

OP didn't mention if you hand load. If not then it's a no brainer... BO all the way.
I have both and only shoot the BO subsonic.
I still use a can on the .308 but it just make it comfortable to shoot full speed loads.

I do handload so that’s not a problem. I have a 300 blkout in a AR but it just doesn’t cycle them well and the slide is the noisiest part. That’s what I want the bolt action.

I have an AR BO but I have more fun with a Handi-Rifle I had APR SBR for me.
