Got my scope finally mounted on the Texan 457 SS this evening. Casted some bullets and a few RBs. Got the scuba cylinder filled, and even broke down and bought a nice air compressor yesterday to make sure I don't run out of air.

Just need to sight it in this week and going to hit the lease with a vengeance for some pigs. We are doing Christmas with family tomorrow, have a closing set for Thursday and then headed out for a day or so of hunting.

Those bullets look almost like the ones I make for my 45-110 sharps. What do your weigh ? And what kind of FPS you get with them ?

Those are 405 grain. Have not checked speed as of yet, but from what I've been reading, and depends on the source, mid 700s to mid 800s with anout 500 fpe.
