I have one that I just put on my TC compass and it fit great. Something unusual happened while I was sighting it in though...

I fired my first round and then adjusted my cross hairs from the bullseye to the bullet hole and then shot again. Worked as usual. Did that 3-4 times and it was getting within 1" of where I wanted it. But then my next shot was about 10-12" off to the right. I fired another round without adjusting and it hit about .5" from that one... 10-12" to the right.

So I thought to myself "at least there's some consistency". After the barrel had cooled down again I had someone else fire a round to make sure it wasn't me and it grouped right in there with the others wayyy to the right.

I ended up getting it pulled back in and shot a 5 shot group sub-MOA right where I wanted it (1" high of bullseye). No idea what happened. All of the screws on the scope mount were tight as well as the rifle stock screws. It's like it just "settled" or something. Never seen anything like it. It definitely makes me want to get pillars though.

If your rifle is a great shooter now, good chance accuracy will decrease and group size will increase unless you pillar and glass bed the stock to your barreled action. Boyd stocks are notorious for needing inletting work to make your BA fit properly in their stocks.

IMO, if your rifle shoots sub 1/2" groups now, I wouldn't mess with it
