I just ran a 150 gr. 7 rem mag pill through 2 last weekend. The exit on the 1st pig was bigger than my fist.

I don’t worry about them running, head shots kill regardless. I want something that leaves a hole, even though it sounds gruesome... I had a 290 pounder get up and walk off after I shot him in the head 3 times with a 22-250

Blow a hole in it. Like the .300wsm shown above. I’ve killed pigs with many calibers, but I want something that makes a mark. I shot a 290 pounder in the head three times at 125 yards with a 22-250 and he got up and walked off like nothing happened

I have yet to shoot pigs with my 50BMG due to what's beyond it. Maybe one day.
Have some Barnes 647gr TSX's that will make any shot angle possible for hunting. It's on the left,260 Rem in the middle and a 750gr Amax on the right. The amax would probably come apart on a critter.
A 750 grain Amax going 2800 and some change.....I’m not sure what that would do. But I’m thinking hamburger and missing parts.

LOL I saw what you did there
Have shot alot of the 750gr Amax's at steel and paper. Since they are a target bullet they are not built that heavy. With a b.c. of 1.050 they do well. As a matter of fact it shoots flatter and hits over 7 times harder than the darling 6.5 CM. It's going to be the most powerful OTC cartridge other than the not so available 20mm vulcan
