That's a tight pattern for that range!!

Only deer I ever shot with buckshot was a buck at 7 yards. He never knew what hit him.

Planning to try my 10 gauge on some hogs under the feeder in the coming months.

As much as I shoot during load development, it’s just not cost effective. Wish it was cheaper, but $50/lb, that’s cocaine prices.

Deer Dogs

Haven't hunted deer with a shotgun since I was a kid, and we hunted with deer dogs.

That looks like it did a heck of a job for that distance.

Don't you miss it? From Louisiana, and that's how I grew up hunting.

I've killed 1 deer with buckshot and it was from about 25 yards out of a bow blind. A buddy and I decided we would try it out and video it for giggles years ago. He squeaked at her and she looked dead at me facing me. I put the bead on her for head and squeezed it off. Holy smokes did it hammer her! LOL Looking at your post makes me want to do it again! Congrats
