I put together a lil shadow box with some of my ammo collection. I have 40 or 50 44 Henry flat nose and pointed rim fires and some 44 russians. Can you spot your 44 Henry in the shadow box?
I have a 1917 Winchester 1890, 22wrf and a 1917 J Stevens 12g. The only lever gun i have is a Browning blr22.. i got it new in 1976, for my 13th birthday.

Lever madness! I'm in. I've owned 70 different Marlins but have whittled down the herd to focus on my favorites.
Along the way, I acquired the two Winchester M94 Timber Scouts offered in the mid-nineties. Winchester made 1000 rifles chambered in 30-30 Win and 500 chambered in 44 Mag. I have them both; they are well-finished, accurate rifles with the XS Sight system. The 30-30 Win...
... and the 44 Mag.
My dad gave me a '66 M94 Antique that he had hunted with for years. He bought it on clearance at Gibson's in Corpus Christi for $25.
I have 30-30 Wins out the door. Even though he gave it to me, I asked him if he minded me doing something different with the rifle as it wasn't being used on the ranch I owned and lived on. He was okay with anything I wanted to do with it.
I sent it off to be rebored/rechambered to a 35-30. I found an original Burris M94 Scout mount that features quick-release mounts. The scout base has an integral, adjustable rear sight so the rifle can quickly be shot without the scope in the field. These M94s have the Weaver K4 Classic Scout Scope mounted with Weaver Lever-Lok rings.
If you are into reloading, the 35-30 is a cool cartridge. Dies are available through CH-4D.
My favorite Marlins; 444T and 1894FG (41 Mag).
